Keihin FCR MX carburetor rebuild service.
Professional carburetor rebuild service. Full disassembly, inspection, cleaning and rebuild with genuine Keihin parts.
We offer:
- full disassembly (including splitting of the mid-body parts)
- inspection of all parts
- ultrasonic cleaning of the carburetor bodies and selected carburetor parts
- inspection and cleaning of jets, jet needle and needle jet
- assembly with high quality Keihin parts (taking into account float height setting, TPS setting, fuel screw setting, greasing of the bearings, etc.)
- accelerator pump set up (squirt quality, timing and duration)
- float valve seat assembly pressure test.
What's included: all small parts (new o-rings, washers, screws, ...).
What's not included: any other parts that need replacement. This will be discussed before we start the service.
Timeline:
- send us your carburetor
- you will receive a confirmation from us upon receipt
- we disassemble the carburetor, inspect it and report what must be done and what's optional (in about 2-3 days)
- we agree about what will be done
- we rebuild the carburetor and report back when it's done (in about a week)
- you send payment
- we ship the carburetor back.

Make sure to package really well, use a shipping service with insurance and add a short note stating your name and address.
- with the carburetor, can I send my own parts, to be used in the rebuild?
No. Why not? Because a) we can only guarantee the quality of our rebuilds by using our genuine Keihin parts and b) because we make money using these parts in our rebuilds.
- what if I decide I do not want to have the carburetor rebuild after I hear the costs of all that is needed?
We ship it back in pieces (you pay for return shipping) or we put it back together (€25) and ship it back (you pay for return shipping).
- what happens to the parts which are renewed with the rebuild?
You will receive these back, with the rebuild carburetor.
